2008 Slideshow – Part 3

Part 3 is the last part of this slideshow series and covers some really fun visits to Guangzhou, Macau, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beihai, Hainan Island, and more. Part 2 of the photo slideshow covers travels through Qinhai, Sichuan, and Tibet. These trips were especially memorable because of the spectacular scenery, interesting culture, and the other  challenges of traveling through the less developed countryside. As the year comes to an end, its time to reflect on 2008. We began our journey halfway around the globe at the end of May. Since then, we've visited many beautiful and interesting places. Beihai Revisited

We just spent the last couple weeks back in Beihai. What a difference a season makes! In the summer, it was hot, humid, and rainy. Back then, it was hard to enjoy all the old cityscapes and ocean views when you had to walk with an umbrella all the time. Now, its clear, cool, comfortable, and sunny every day.
