Tour de Arlington, Part I

For those coming in from out of town (and also for those who are in town who don't get out much) I've compiled an off the beaten path list of things to check out. Ok, Arlington is just a mere drop in the bucket considering that the Washington DC area stretches from West Virginia to Eastern Shore Maryland. Canoe Carrying Corolla

Ever since we got a fishing canoe, people have been asking how we transport it. Our two vehicles are a Mini Cooper and a Toyota Carolla. By default, the Carolla became our canoe carrying car. First, you will need to buy a canoe carry kit like the one below. The kit comes with 4 foam blocks that you place on the canoe's gunwales. The canoe then gets placed on top of your car.
